Enterprise Account Executive
Xandros, Inc the leading publisher of Easy-To-Use Linux alternatives to Windows is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive with a strong background in the SMB and Enterprise software industry.
Qualified candidates will have previous experience selling b2b and enterprise-level software based solutions. Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding a $2M-$5M quota and have achieved premium sales “club” recognition. An action and results-oriented approach which balance a “take charge” attitude with teamwork and collaboration. An ability to work with prospects to develop strong business cases coupled with solid closing skills. Candidate will have a solid background in selling within multiple verticals with a corresponding rolodex. Account activity includes selling to commercial installed base accounts as well as new prospects in the assigned geographic area. The successful candidate’s background will include having established and executed call plans, orchestrated account-planning sessions and effectively executed account strategies. Familiarity with software licensing and technology is essential, experience with Linux a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
- Target, Prospect & Close new direct enterprise and SMB customers in the North American market
- Manage all aspects of the sales relationship
- Manage existing customer relationships to drive post-sales revenues
- Develop selling strategies tailored to specific accounts
- Participate in face-to-face sales calls
- Support trade shows and other product demonstration events
