Andreas Typaldos Named Xandros CEO

High Tech Veteran Aims to Build Major Linux Solutions Provider

New York, October 28, 2003 – Xandros, Inc., The board of directors of Xandros, Inc. is pleased to announce today the appointment of Andreas Typaldos as CEO. Mr. Typaldos is a 30-year technology veteran and entrepreneur with science and computer science degrees. He is the founder of AxsOne (formerly Computron), a global software firm supplying Fortune 500 companies with financial services, financial applications, workflow, and data-management applications.

“Xandros has a top product, many Microsoft users are waiting for: The touch and feel of their known Windows desktop, with the stability and security of the Linux platform. Xandros has an enormous market potential and I am excited to take this challenge,” said Andy Typaldos.

Mr. Typaldos is a principal founder of a broad spectrum of companies in Internet infrastructure, broadband, SMS and mobile transactions, technology enabling, instant messaging, and compliance software space. He was an early investor through Linux Global Partners in Ximian, Xandros, and CodeWeavers, and is currently Chairman/Managing Member of Enikia, a state-of-the-art system-on-a-chip semiconductor company focused on delivering broadband and multi-media distribution over electrical power lines.
