Xandros to Debut New Channel Sales and Training Program “Easy Choice, Easy Money”
Xandros Reseller Program Presents Strategic Opportunities For Systems Builders, VAR’s, and (R)Etailers
BOSTON, MA, LinuxWorldExpo February 16, 2005 — Xandros, the leading developer of easy-to-use Linux solutions, will launch a new multi-tiered “Easy Choice, Easy Money” channel program at the Boston LinuxWorld Expo. The new program provides partners in every segment of the channel with opportunities to capitalize on the dramatic growth of desktop Linux, in both enterprise and consumer markets, with incentives, certified training, and support.
“The Linux market is hot. Linux on the desktop is growing at a compounded annual rate of 44 percent, and the combined Linux server, desktop and application market is projected to reach $38 billion in the next three years,” said Brian Colgan, Xandros Director of Channel Sales. “We’re inviting potential channel partners to stop by our booth at the Boston LinuxWorld Expo to discover the excellent incentives we offer through training, support, co-branding, and co-marketing.”
"Just as Xandros provides the best user experience, we intend to provide the best partner experience as well," said Andreas Typaldos, Xandros CEO. “The Linux market is fast approaching the inflection point of explosive growth, and our new channel program ensures that our partners fully participate in this opportunity."
Certified Desktop Training
Integrated training incentives are the cornerstone of the new
“Easy Choice, Easy Money” program. Partners become
eligible for either “gold” or “platinum”
discount status once their staff completes either on site or
online training to become certified Xandros salespersons, technicians,
and engineers.
Potential channel partners can learn more at Xandros booth # 914 during the LinuxWorld Expo, February 15-17, in Boston’s Hynes Convention Center.
