Xandros
tests for compatibility against a wide variety of hardware
devices and has compiled a list of devices that is believed
to be compatible with Xandros Desktop. However, due to the
number of models and variations, as well as the complexity
of testing various combinations of hardware, Xandros cannot
guarantee compatibility of all listed devices.

The
Xandros Desktop uses XFree86 4.2 which provides accelerated
support for video cards based on these chipsets, most other
modern video cards will function well using the standard VESA
driver. Accelerated OpenGL support is available out of the box
for compatible Matrox and nVIdia based cards. For cards
using the ATI Rage128 Chipset, OpenGL support can be added from
Xandros Networks.
